A Holiday Stocking Full of New “Do” Lessons!
I hope you all had a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving holiday with great food and quality family time. Family is so very important during these challenging times.
As you begin to count down the three weeks before winter break, you are probably looking for additional NGSS-aligned, phenomenon-based lessons to “Do” with your Zooming or face-to-face hybrid instructional model.
NSTA Daily Dos are engaging lessons for K-12 students that are easily facilitated by both teachers and parents. Tasks take between 20 to 90 minutes to complete and focus on giving kids an opportunity to make sense of intriguing and relevant phenomenon. Clear directions for implementation, along with discussion tips is provided. These directions will easily help teachers and parents lead discussions and use the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) to help students make sense of the lesson phenomenon.
