I recently came across some great instructional resources, developed by Instructional Leadership for Science Practices (ILSP), that can assist teachers (and administrators) with the implementation of the NGSS Science and Engineering Practices.

Included in this link is a progressive continuum to assist teachers in moving students from “initial exposure” to a “sophisticated engagement” in the practices.  I have also added to the PDF a series of questions, for each practice, teachers can use as instructional strategies to scaffold students’ mastery of the SEPs.
