Invasive Species Project

This past week I had a Zoom lesson observation with my student teacher, Kennedy. She and her master teacher are currently addressing the final unit for the semester, ecology and the positive and negative impacts on an ecosystem.

After accessing the internet for ideas, Kennedy found an appropriate lesson initially developed at Highland Regional High School, Blackwood, New Jersey. She then modified the lesson to meet the needs of her students.

What I observed was a masterful, creative lesson on invasive species. I was so proud of how well-constructed and scaffolded the lesson was, I asked her if I could share her very creative project, Unwanted Posters with you.
